Elder Scrolls Online: Vault Of Moawita Guide (2024)

Like in most RPGs, The Elder Scrolls Online features an abundance of sidequests for adventurers to conquer. One such quest is Vault of Moawita, a sidequest hidden inside the Summerset expansion. The quest itself is difficult to uncover, hidden in a small room in an unmarked location at northern Artaeum.

In the quest, the player learns that twenty dangerous relics were stolen and scattered across Summerset, and its up to them to recover them. The Vault of Moawita quest itself is short and simple for Elder Scrolls Online, with the player being rewarded with clues pointing towards the hidden locations of the relics. For collecting all of the relics, the player will earn the Relics of Summerset achievement and be able to purchase The Keeper's Oath. Collecting all of the relics is also necessary for gaining the Savior of Summerset achievement, and completing the Vault of Moawita quest beforehand will make that much easier.

Vault of Moawita Guide

The Vault of Moawita is located inside the College of Psijics Ruins, which can be found in the northern-center region of Artaeum.

To access the quest, go inside the College. After walking down the hallway, turn left down the small staircase. At the bottom, immediately turn right to find the door leading to the Vault of Moawita.

Go inside and speak to Relicmaster Glenadir. After speaking with him, go to the nearby table and pick up the Psijic Codex to read it. Afterwards, use the paper and quill to copy it. Return to Relicmaster Glenadir, which will end the Vault of Moawita quest.

From here, the player is given hints as to the whereabouts of the missing relics.

Relics of Summerset Locations

There are 20 relics scattered around Summerset. They are all hidden inside Thieves Guild Dead Drop chests. Each item is cursed, meaning that they will cause a temporary negative effect on the player, though nothing too harmful.

Lantern of Lies

Directly south of Welenkin Cove, the chest is hidden under a boulder.

Heart of the Indrik

Southeast of the Cey-Tarn Keep, the chest can be found at the end of the river on a small patch of land hidden among the rocks.

Silver-Tongued Quill

This is found on the Alinor Docks, at the end of the easternmost dock.

The Unraveling Wand

The chest is hidden directly under the bridge on the eastern side of Rellenthil.

Skull of Minor Cursing

The chest is found on a cliffside ledge northeast of Rellenthil.

Shadowcutter Blade

East of the Ald Mora Ruins, the chest is on the eastern side of the small waterfall. This item causes the player to catch on fire, which may be deadly to Vampires if not careful.

Soulkeeper's Urn

Just behind Tanamir's Manor in Russafeld, the chest is found on a nearby hill.

Chest of Condemnation

Northeast of Ebon Stadmont, the chest is found on a ledge near the west bank of the stream. The chest will be under a small archway.

Never-Ending Scroll

Southwest of the Illumination Academy, the chest will be at the east end of the bridge, hidden under a large tree.

Inescapable Helm

At Corgrad Wastes, south of the center house.

Sticky-Fingered Lute

At the Queen's Hatchery, the chest is just east on a small cliff.

Fan of the False-Face

Northwest of Gryphon Run, the chest is under a tree just off of a beach.

Pillow of Sweet Dreams

The chest is southeast of Gryphon Aerie, next to a large boulder.

Mirror of Fatal Premonition

South of Direnni Acropolis, the chest is hidden behind the building at the end of the levee.

Monochrome Paintbrush

Just outside the south of Shimmerene, the chest is on the beach below the wall.

Hourglass of Perceived Time

Northwest of the Sil-Var-Woad Wayshrine, the chest is downhill on the eastside of the road.

Jaunt of the Jilted

East of the Abyssal Geyser Sil-Var-Woad, the chest is on a beach under a tree.

Ever-Filling Chalice

North of Alaxon'ald, the chest is across the road in the back of the gryphon's den.

Chestplate of Desiccation

South of Sunhold, the chest is located on the beach next to a cliffside and a tower.

Shattering Sword

South of the Keep of the Elven Forces, the chest is hidden behind a boulder near a tree.
